I think it's sweet you have an admirer. Does everything have to be full on or nothing? Why can't we just get to know other people slowly, with ease, over time...

"Disgusting" and "Revolting" are strong words! I've used them myself :D

In my experience, strong words and emotions arise during a flashback.

And, in my experience again, the emotion connected to these specific words was...

wait for it....

Disappointment.

I only figured this out when I read some therapy summink or other some years ago that expanded on the feelings that specific words were connected with. I don't know if they're right for your experience?

They were for mine though.

But then I do expect too much from people sometimes.

And, perhaps, it's not fair to expect anything from another someone at all?

That sounds less like love and more like obligation. Which goes against my own principles. But then... I'm only human so :)
