Like - it's fine to snort crack and fuck your brain up in the privacy of your own home but keep it out of social situations please. And if it's illegal in the area you're living in and you get busted then hey ho - your country rules your problem.

Perhaps it all has to do with consent? Not much consent being granted or asked for from pedophiles or serial killers then. This is keeping it simple?

I don't know.

But I do know a lot of it comes down to personal accountability and being responsible. And I do know there are a great many humans who are very much more on the narcissistic / sociopathic scale these days and that the internet has actually encouraged this behaviour and is growing it.

So expecting folks to be conscious human beings online, when the very nature of the experience generally rewards them if they are the opposite, seems a bit naive :|

Sorry - this is less about what it should be and more about corporate greed nowadays. It is what it is. I think ALL politics is about power and control - and really about money at the end of the day. Which I guess is what it's supposed to be partly about because that money is supposed to go into decent infrastructure for societies. Don't get me started and I don't do politics anyway so would prolly talk a ton of rubbish quite vehemently and get myself into trouble again. And I'm still a bit tired!
