Today I’m going to share about what and why I prefer to stay at apartment instead of hotel when I travel.
Here I’m in Kota Kinabalu and I’m staying at Riverson Soho.
Riverson Soho is located in between Gleneagles Hospital KK and KK Times Square. Is just a walking distance to the famous Imago Shopping Mall.
This trip, I came with mom and my junior. We need a place where can fit 3 persons. So is either an apartment with 2 rooms or a hotel. The reason we choose to stay here is because this apartment came with 2 rooms and a living room. When comes to price, is cheaper than hotel. We spent for 260 Malaysia Ringgit per night for an apartment and is consider cheaper than staying in a hotel if for 2 rooms. Location is good and comes with complete facilities like swimming pool and gym room. For us, we drive all the way from an island and what we concerned is about the parking space. Is it safe? Is it free? The answer is “YES”! Very safe with the security passcard and is FREE!

Beside the apartment, downstairs they have grocery store and many choices of restaurants and cafes. So for those who don’t feel like walking around, or if is raining, you can just go downstairs and have your meals at anytime.
