According to a report from the Financial Times on March 25th, China topped in the most fillings for Blockchain technology to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2017.
Thomson Reuters obtained data from the International patent organization indicating that half of all the patent filings came from China representing. A total of 225 Blockchain patents were filed for by China, followed by the US with 91 and Australia with 13.
