2026 is here and if I’ve not wished you a Happy New Year yet, well I’m hoping it’s a great one for you and everyone. I’m going to be boosting my YouTube efforts this year and Substack. I recorded this video earlier today and shall share with you here. It’s a longer one than usual where I talk about the history of this part of Southern England, it’s Roman occupation, Vikings, did you know they travelled as far in land as Reading? Nor did I but the evidence is there.
Today we visit the church of St Catherines in Wolverton, up on the edge of the Wessex Downs.
