Writing posts like this, where I say that I didn’t move all that far yesterday, makes me realise that I need to do some more walking. However it was a busy enough day work wise but not exactly packed with stuff to do. Working from home and having days where you’re waiting on others to make decisions, means I can do some stuff around the house until the phone goes ping and some coding needs to be done!
Over the weekend we put some photos up on the wall in our kitchen and some paintings too. So out came the tape measure, picture hooks and a hammer. Levelling picture frames is fun and I was surprised I managed to get them lined up so well. I was taking measurements, doing some maths and trigonometry (not really I’m taking the mick).
Last night we met up with the rest of the canoe club committee to talk about the year end figures and we’ve had a very good year. We had a session at the Lido recently where 50 people attended! We have 90 boats, so can cope and the Lido is absolutely huge.
We don’t have 50 permanent members though but people always pay us, so 50 people paying 10 quid per session, is decent income for the club.
