Photo Challenge #flowerfriday-Red Gumamela

Hello, dear Steemians.
For today's photo challenge #flowerfriday💐 initiated by @menschenskinder and supported by @lichtblick & @welovesteemit I picked marvelous red gumamela! Blooms all year round and can survive from all regions of the country "Philippines." This gumamela is indeed marvelous because it has been part of Philippine History, along countless battles of the Katipuneros gumamela have been used to cure wounds of the wounded Katipuneros.

Gumamela as Herbal Medicine
As herbal medicine, gumamela flower, leaves and roots are used. Gumamela has the following medicinal characteristics: expectorant, diuretic, emollient, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anodyne and refrigerant.
