Most people in the world chase money because they then believe they will be happy. Yet does money buy happiness?
Science does say that people that have some kind of financial safety are less stressed and happier than people who do not. It also states that people who reach a level of having an excess of money decrease in happiness.
There have also been many different answers to "if money can buy happiness". Dan Pena, the 50 billion dollar man, says "if you think money can't buy happiness then you don't know where to fu**ing shop". While Grant Cardone, also a billionaire, says that "money can't buy happiness, but it can buy security and freedom. I'm already stressed enough so I don't need to stress about my finances." In my opinion, money can give you everything you need to have an easier life. Money can buy perspective. What I mean by this is if you buy yourself a Honda and then in a couple of years buy a Mercedes that will make you happy because you will feel accomplished. But if you buy yourself a 2 million dollar Ferrari you will be happy, but then in a couple of years what will make you happy. If you get to a certain point stuff will not make you happy anymore. It can go up to a certain point. Most people will not be able to reach that point and that is why they believe money can buy happiness which is why they keep chasing it. Once you get to that point you realize okay I have everything I could ever want, what more do I need? That is when your PERSPECTIVE about money and happiness will change. If you want to get an idea of this in a new perspective then go to YouTube and type in Dan Bilzerian and Joe Rogan and watch that video. It will change your whole perspective about money.
-Best of luck to you, Nick G.
