El color selectivo o también llamado desaturado selectivo, es una técnica fotográfica que consiste en desaturar una imagen consiguiendo que quede en blanco y negro para a continuación dejar algún elemento en color. Gracias a esta técnica podemos resaltar algunas partes de nuestras fotografías y con ello conseguir grandes resultados, haciendo que toda la atención se centre en el objeto deseado y nuestra fotografía sea mas llamativa visualmente para los que la observan. Algo a tener en cuenta es que no siempre podremos usar esta técnica en cualquier imagen, debemos pensar detalladamente si es necesario para lo que queremos transmitir o buscamos mostrar. Como ejemplo comparto esta fotografía en la cual use el color selectivo para hacer mas llamativa y lograr un mayor contraste entre la escultura y el paisaje, además de acentuar nuestra perspectiva visual en la escena.

The selective color or also called selective desaturation, is a photographic technique that consists of desaturating an image, getting it to be black and white and then leaving some element in color. Thanks to this technique we can highlight some parts of our photographs and thereby achieve great results, making all the attention focus on the desired object and our photography is more visually striking for those who observe it. Something to keep in mind is that we can not always use this technique in any image, we must think in detail if it is necessary for what we want to transmit or seek to show. As an example I share this photograph in which I use the selective color to make more striking and achieve a greater contrast between the sculpture and the landscape, besides accentuating our visual perspective in the scene.
