Born from my experience with domestic violence, institutional racism, and family court abuse in Aotearoa (New Zealand) - I share my story to encourage other women who may be experiencing the same to speak up. I advocate for self-determination and tino rangatiratanga. #stopdomesticviolence #stopinstitutionalracism #stopfamilycourtabuse #empowerwomen

I spent the afternoon printing and putting pamphlets on supermarket noticeboards - happy to do it. Our work is never done. Have a good Sunday everyone.

We had some good news come in on Wednesday & on that note, I'm still celebrating by relaxing at the beach today. Time out is important to relax & recooperate. Have a great day everyone.

I like your choice of colours, easy to read text and easy to follow. Looks like a good game.

This morning, I had to let someone within the system know the way she spoke down at me is unacceptable. Even this small quiet act of speaking up is a step towards advocating for equity and fairness for

It's so nice when a cafe worker remembers you after not eating there for a few months and they knew what I wanted. 🤣

RE: Public Goods, Private Hands

I don't see things improving with the current government (National). They're changing a lot of legislation which will only be good for corporations while the people are already struggling as it is.

Thank you. There's been a massive shift happening with many speaking up, especially in my own country. I love it and I'm here for it.

RE: How did I get to this point in life? (short version)

Thank you. It will take a long time but we will get there. Unfortunately, my situation isn't unique as many have been abused by the system.

RE: Funny How the Great British Colonial Empire has no Recognized Hero-Conqueror

A few of the British descendants here in New Zealand celebrate Captain Cook, who they credit with "discovering" New Zealand. Of course, the rest of us indigenous celebrate his death by the Hawaiians

RE: The Value of a Single Day’s Break.

A day off feels so good. I had to have one today because I was so exhausted and slept/rested most of the day. I'm grateful to have that flexibility.
