Hello, good morning everyone. Today, as always, I'm bringing you a game I've been playing for quite some time. In this case, I'm introducing The Colonists. It's a robot colony management game. I've been playing it longer than any other game, perhaps more than five years, and that's why I know quite a bit about it.
Well let's start this is an incredible game which is available on PC in Windows, macOS and Linux with a weight of only 1 GB in which we are the guide of the colony of robots which moves to a new planet in which they want to make their home like the humans who had created them but the time has come to find their place so they decide to move and look for a new planet there they will have to raise, manage and grow food and water not for the robots directly but to generate energy in the houses to later be used by the robots.
Here, we'll have to advance little by little through its 14 missions, each one different from the others, divided into two camps: the upper one, for peaceful resource management, and the lower one, for strategic campaigns, in which we'll have to seize territory from other enemy colonies. This method is carried out by placing defense towers, which can be gradually improved with the workshop upgrades I show you below. Our colony is so peaceful that if we click on a transport robot, it will immediately turn around and greet us.
We also have the construction tools. In this case, I had a game in which I haven't yet completed all the research, but I'll show you two images where you can see the contrition inventory, where, of course, things are selected to build and advance.
In addition to this game, I had another larger one, but the research was still incomplete, and here it is. To give you a more complete overview of the research in this game, I can tell you that we can obtain improvements to farms, houses that produce batteries, which are used for new mining robots and lumberjack robots, which are the main bases for the development of the colony. Additionally, improvements to roads can be obtained with the arrival of the robot that builds them. Often, as we progress in research, we obtain new cabins and structures.
In short, this is a fabulous game that takes time. Although it only has 14 missions, each one took me only about 2 or 3 hours, on different days. Of course, the difficulty increases after the third mission. I loved it. Even though it takes quite a bit of time, I love playing it. Tell me what you think of this game and these types of games. I hope you enjoyed this post. Also, I want to let you know that I arranged the images uniformly throughout the text to fit the content. See you soon, as always, with a new and, of course, more than entertaining game.
