Stephen Hawking died at the age of 76. Although the family of Stephen Hawking was associated with London, the future professor at the University of Cambridge was born on January 8, 1942 in Oxford. During the then war, it was a much safer place than the capital of Great Britain. There, too, at Oxford, Hawking began his studies - first he chose physics and then astronomy. Soon, however, he changed the science center. The choice fell on Cambridge. And he remained faithful to the end. He dealt with cosmology, among other things. Soon he defended his doctoral thesis and became a lecturer and then a professor at the university. Permanent Stephen Hawking was associated with the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and Gonville and Caius College. 

Disease:

 At 21, he learned that he had two or three years of age. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis was like a death sentence. But Hawking fought, though he was short of departing much earlier. In 1985 he fell ill with pneumonia, which led to clinical death. That's when the physician lost his voice. Three years later, a book is published that has made Hawking known throughout the world.

He wondered if he was more known for his achievements, or perhaps because of an incurable disease. The wheelchair and characteristic computer voice have become a hallmark. Hawking also did not rule out that it was the disease that made him focus on science. As he admitted himself, in his youth he was not one of the most urgent students. He was lazy, he preferred to party. After the illness, the body refused to obey, but the mind continued to work at full speed. It sounds cruel, but even in his biography there were theories that, to some extent, catch the trolley, he could devote so much time to thinking.A physics disease is not only a tragedy of a man, evidence of the weakness of the human body, but a triumph of reason. The first wife admitted that the fame of Hawking, but also his disability, led to the breakup of the marriage. The family mentioned that the house ceased to be a refuge, because of the constant medical care they lost their privacy. Hawking divorced, and then he married a woman who was his private nurse. And this relationship did not survive, and the media wrote that the physicist was a victim of domestic violence on the part of his wife. Rumors have been denied.A stormy, difficult life did not prevent a career in science. What's more, Hawking realized his dreams - including took part in a special flight, which allowed him to find himself in a state of weightlessness. The physicist thus proved that there really are no limits. And we are not talking about the scientific understanding of the universe. And in illness, it can help people not only to want to live, but also technology itself, the best example of which was not only a computer voice, but also a trolley, packed with technologies.
