I’m sure my answer is very limited. And yes from the perspective of the victim, there is no explanation or answer that would do justice to the pain they had to endure. I’m sure I can’t even start to comprehend the pain and grief they’ve had to deal with and carry throughout their lives. I can only speak as someone who has experienced a lot of pain in my life too, but very different types of pain, and to that extent, I guess many of us have had to endure pain, suffering and grief at some stage of our lives.
I've talked about the pains I've had to endure throughout my childhood in my intro post and mini memoir series.
The pains and sufferings each of us have had to endure in our lives vary, but it's amazing to me that God loved us so much that He willingly came into His own creation in Jesus, and endured pain, suffering and humiliation for us, so that we can be freed from our bondage to sin and get to know HIm.
The thing is that, if this life is all that there is, then it is indeed depressing, but the fact is that we have hope, And sometimes pain, sufferings and grief point our focus to that future hope.
