If I am wrong I'd like that some steemians please, explain this for me:
BRIEF INTRODUCTION: I've been in Facebook for years and always have found a lot of egoism, conformism and indifference there. I usually didn't find difficult to click "Like" on anything that I had found good enough and many times even used to share things that I thought worth the while to. But very soon I realized that too many of my contacts did not do the same for me. Most of them --perhaps more than 90% without exaggerating-- did not share, comment or click "Like" to my posts.
And there comes my point. In a few months that I've been sharing information here in steemit, I've noticed (or I am wrong) that many people do the same as in Facebook. I understand such pretension, indifference and egotism when it is someone who just read or saw your post; but I can't explain that, when you have voted for someone, given a courteous comment, etc. and you don't get anything in return but a simple "thanks" if ever.
If you, who is reading this now, have a sensible explanation for this to share here with me, I would thank you a lot .
The most difficult thing for me to understand is that if, in Facebook, where people do not earn any cent by sitting there for hours, they don't mind recognizing others' values and do not help them, why do people in steemit do the same ?, when they know (or should know) that here --at least for money's sake-- we should be nice, respectful and helpful to one another.
Moreover, and this is to finish, Do I lose any cent when I vote for your work? ...Thank you if you can untangle this puzzle for me. (Thank you for reading)
