Hello
Splinterlands Lovers !!
Today, I would like to walk you through one of my battles in Splinterlands. Specifically, I will highlight a card in this battle that possesses the "Snipe" ability. I will introduce you to a ranged attack card that is exceptionally powerful. This card operates by bypassing the first card in the enemy's lineup to attack any card positioned in their backline instead. The strategic advantage of this is that if there is a specific enemy card capable of inflicting significant damage upon your team, this card targets and neutralizes that very threat. While most players tend to shy away from using ranged attack cards, you will observe here that I have actually included two such cards in my team composition. You can watch the battle unfold to see exactly how these two ranged attackers perform in action. Typically, the first card in a battle should serve as a "tank"; however, by deploying ranged attack cards in the back rows, you can inflict substantially greater damage upon the enemy team. Today, I will be sharing just such a battle experience with you.
I have shared the link to the battle with you; you can watch the full video right here. As you can see, my first card is a Tank, positioned at the front of my team; it will be the first to absorb any incoming damage. Subsequently, the other cards in my team will launch attacks to inflict damage upon the enemy team. Now, I would like to introduce you to the "Snipe" ability. If you look closely, the specific card I want to highlight is named—Mantoid. This is a ranged-attack card. The function of its unique ability is to bypass the enemy's primary melee attacker and instead target other key cards within their lineup—specifically those capable of inflicting significant damage to our team, such as Magic or Ranged (non-melee) attackers. This card will prioritize and attack any one of these specific targets. This is an extremely advantageous ability because it allows us to eliminate the enemy's main damage-dealers, thereby significantly increasing our chances of securing a victory. For this reason, cards possessing the Snipe ability are considered highly valuable assets.
I possess this Level 4 Ranged Attack card. It is a card with a Mana cost of 6. This card features a Ranged Attack power of 3. It offers 5 Health and a Speed of 4. The damage inflicted by this card can prove extremely heavy for the enemy team, precisely because it possesses a Ranged Attack power of 3. If you observe the battles, you will realize that ranged attacks inflict significant damage upon the enemy team. Therefore, including two Ranged Attack cards in your lineup would be highly advantageous. Furthermore, within the Ranged Attack category, I recommend selecting a card with the "Snipe" ability; this allows the card to target specific enemies and play a pivotal role in securing victory for your team.
Thank U !
