My garmin fenix 3 lasted close to 10 years. It never missed a beat until the screen just went blank. I tried going without one for a few months, just logging my runs on my phone but it was weird looking at my wrist for split times with nothing there. I have splashed out now and just got the cheapest Garmin forerunner. I would not use it in the water, but it is fine for everything else. Let's hope your dries out and resets fine. I suppose it is just out of warranty too!
