@new.things just finished a 5.22km run, that lasted for 38 minutes.
This run helped new.things burn 390.0 calories.
Description from Strava: Strava2hive 6 x 400m intervals. The first one felt terrible, but they got better. Garmin seemed to like it to and lifted my Vo2 to 48 my highest in 6 months. That with some good hive earning is nice progress all around.

It is interesting check the stats, the heart rate on my first 400m was so low no wonder it felt bad and it took a while to get going.
I have been watching my heart rate on my easy runs for a while now and garmin is recognising it. I did not feel any fitter at the moment as I am not running that fast at parkrun but my heart much be lower for what I am doing and garmin is giving me a better Vo2 score.
December was when I got serious about watching the my zone 2 runs and making sure I kept them easy, Garmin dropped my Vo2 for going so slow but as been building ever since. I am just hoping it translates to a faster parkrun time soon. 42 kilometres for last week hopefully I can hold that without getting any niggles though I am more interested in focusing on the 5:48 time running on my feet.
I have started adding my weekly hive stats to my strava as well I have a lot of followers hopefully a few more will come to hive as well.
