It is not just a house anymore, it is slowly becoming a home.

A few months ago, I posted my journey here of building a house and how thankful I am for finally moving in. Now, I will be sharing with you some updates regarding the house and what are these minimal add-ons to it.
WHAT ARE THE ADD-ONS?
1. REFRIGERATOR
We started purchasing some appliances for the house, for our comfort and convenience. The first appliance we have purchased is a refrigerator. We absolutely need this to store food if ever we have stocks, like fish or meat.
It is a Samsung Inverter. I preferred this type because aside from it saves energy, it is hassle-free when it comes to defrosting. It doesn't require too much muscle work because, in the first place, it doesn't form ice inside. As for me, it is a smart purchase.
2. PAINTING THE DOORS
Before the doors were colored, we painted them first with a white primer that served as the first coating. The primer will be the base, and it will be absorbed by the wood first so when paint is applied, it doesn't need a huge amount of it. ,
The color of our doors is chocolate brown for the purpose of concealing its flaws. Because I must say, they weren't built the way we want them to be because if they look good, we could have used wood stain to preserve their wood color. It could have looked much more aesthetic.
3.REPAINTING THE CEILING
We decided to repaint it with beige to hide the imperfections. So far, it highlighted the lights more, especially at night.
4. PURCHASING AN ALARM AND A CCTV
We also purchased an alarm and a CCTV for the house. The alarm was set up next to my room and the CCTV was placed at my room's balcony which has a 360掳 view of the surrounding.
5.CONSTRUCTION OF FENCE
We also decided to have our back fence constructed.
These are all for safety purposes since there will be times, I slept alone. It was just seldom though but yeah, nothing is wrong with prioritizing one's safety.
6. TELEVISION
Since I am a huge volleyball fan and watching it on a small screen doesn't give me that satisfaction, it wouldn't suffice the cheers I get to shout for my favorite teams, so we decided to buy a television.
Taking into consideration the space that our living area has, we opted to buy a not-so-big television. We went to SM Cebu, in SM appliance, and bought the 43 inches LG UHD A1, the latest release of LG. Truly, it made me say Life's Good.
7. FURNITURE
My partner has recently brought two of his handmade furniture. First is this chair which was artistically made of acacia driftwood.
I love its color, it symbolizes age. It looks like it is preserving a story to tell. I love how comfortable it is to sit while watching the Premier Volleyball League, cheering for Choco Mucho and Creamline teams. 馃槉
The second one that he brought recently was this durable center table which the amplifier was placed on.
This is still made of acacia tree and as you can see, it serves well its purpose.
And I guess, those are the new add-ons to the house.
MY THOUGHTS
I am grateful for the progress and the small wins I have in life right now. I am still far from finishing this house, its exterior, and interior, but I am already far in building something for myself. And that is because God has been gracious in giving me His blessings everyday. Truly, I am beyond grateful, favored and blessed.
