#WednesdayWalk is an initiative started by @tattoodjay, The idea is to get out for a walk, and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home, office or wherever you start.

#MakeMeSimile is an initiative started by @elizacheng – a ‘challenge’ for you to post something that makes your readers smile.

Millenia Walk is in down-town Singapore, a short walking distance from the Marina Bay. It sits on reclaimed land and it is part of a development that consists of office towers and luxury hotels. There is also a shopping mall with designer boutique shops. It all looks rather high-end.

Recently, on our way to the Marina bay, my friend and I decided to have a wander around the Millenia Walk to see if there was anything of interest. There wasn’t – just the hotels and office towers, the shopping mall and a few eateries in the surrounding area.

Hotels and office buildings

They have this eye-catching ceiling.

There are many boutique shops, and coffee shops. It was a quiet time on a weekday, so there weren’t many people around. I wonder what it is like during the weekend.

Some customers in the coffee shops. Most seem to be on their laptop working, or doing whatever they were doing.

Mouth-watering patsries. They all look good.
