When I went to the cinema when this first came out I actually didn't like it. I think it had a lot to do with the cinema being oversold and people were actually sitting on the stairs. I also found it really confusing but it wasn't until years later that I really started to appreciate it.

Plus people bag on Matrix 2 but I really enjoyed that one.

It is an amazing film and I was wrong with my first impressions. I was also really high so that might have had something to do with it.
