This is the first time I've drawn something like this and I always like to try something new. I adore children, so drawing their favorite heroes from cartoons or role models is not foreign to me. I especially like this drawing because I drew it for my sister's children and I knew that they will be delighted with it. As you can see, it is a winter drawing, a winter idyll and a boot-shaped house. When I saw this picture, at first glance it reminded me of that story about "Ivica and Marica". You know for sure, the story of two children who get lost in the woods and come across a house built of sweets, lollipops, chocolate, with an old witch in it. Of course, the house doesn't remind me of that old witch, but of the candy house, because it looks so sweet and cute.

The first step in drawing this painting was sketching with a pencil. By the way, I'm not a person who can immediately take colors and start painting, I prefer to determine the proportions in the painting with a pencil.
The second step was coloring. I started coloring the sky because blue dominates the painting. As always, I applied the first coat of paint in a few strokes of a large brush, and then I went into detail, adding yellow and pink paint around the sun and white paint for the clouds.

I continued to paint water with blue color, but I added darker shades of blue along the way to create a contrast and the drawing would not be monotonous.

I also added yellow tones to the water as a reflection of the sun.

In the middle of the painting, I drew a boat for which I used a mixture of brown and white with a small addition of yellow and red to emphasize certain parts of the boat. Along the way, I added two lanterns to reducing the monotony of the image and brought light to the drawing.

The easiest part was the hill on which the house stands, because it should have been as simple as possible, so as not to distract attention. I started with white and then added light shades of blue, a little light purple and darker blue at the ends of the hill.

Drawing the house was the most difficult part because it is the most detailed part of the drawing. I started from the roof for which I used bright red paint, with the addition of white paint to mark the parts where the snow fell.

The upper part of the house is represented by brown boards that range from darker to lighter shades and inversely. To add serenity to the house, I drew seven windows from which light emanates and also a little white snow on them.

I painted the shoelace in orange and the rest of the house in bright purple with the addition of lighter tones.
Finally, I added tiny white dots in the painting that represent snowflakes.

Drawing this was very inspiring, but it required a lot of time, work and effort. My girls are thrilled with the drawing, and I hope you will be too.

Send you many greetings,

Your Nesni

:)
