MARIO KART Circuit, where Augmented reality meets a classic game!
The world of augmented REALITY and gaming is truly here in great ways, and the best is MARIO KART CIRCUIT!
While MARIO KART CIRCUIT might have some users complaints, I am highlighting it in this post because I find it rather interesting!
Mario Kart itself is one of the classic games we all remember. There was nothing like a MARIO kart battle with your best friends HEAD TO HEAD.
The Mario Kart Circuit game, takes this to a whole new level!
By combining Augmented Reality, you drive around real karts around your house around various items such as carpets and tables and then see a video version on the screen.
If we look at how this is played, with real life karts, this is something a completely different level!
I haven't actually played this yet, so unfortunately I can't have a personal review.
But from what I've been hearing from friends, it's a great amount of fun but with some flaws. As for me, being such a huge Mario Kart FAN, I might be willing to pony up the $299 to purchase this!
This is a very cool idea -- and I can't recall another game that used augmented reality in this way, not at-least in this scale! I'd love to hear if you have any others.
