This is a type of red cup mushroom, or also in Latin called Sarcoscypha occidentalis, usually grows on rotten wood under trees in large forests or in small forests, I found this mushroom in the forest near my garden, coincidentally that day I was looking for a mushroom object for me to take a photo of, I entered a forest that was overgrown with shady trees, and saw on the rotting wood there was a red mushroom, I looked closer to be able to confirm whether the mushroom is still suitable for me to take a photo object, because usually mushrooms are not old age, sometimes mushrooms grow in the morning but in the afternoon it can't be used as a photo object anymore because they have buds and change shape and color, some are a few days old, like the mushrooms I found, they are usually a few days old, and can grow well can survive under the trees.

In the forest there are usually a lot of mushrooms that grow especially after it rains, because the dry branches or dry leaves are already moist again, and mushrooms are easy to grow in these conditions, especially not exposed to direct sunlight, increasing the humidity of the area for a long time, so mushrooms grow a lot and we don't really care. hard to find, in my garden which is also a lot of trees there are many types of mushrooms, this time I went to the nearest forest from my garden, wanted to find a type of mushroom that looks good, and also has a slightly different color, this is an opportunity to find a different type of mushroom than usual , and this time I found it, which is a type of mushroom cup red or called Sarcoscypha occidentalis.
