The waning moon was seen in red color in Caracas (Venezuela), some days ago. The reason is the air pollution due to the forest fires that are happening in these days, in the region. Well, I think this is the reason.
These photos were taken the last 29th with the camera of my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited in Gimp. The last image shows the context of the photos and we see the reddish moon.
Hace unos días la Luna, estando en menguante, se vio de color rojo en la ciudad de Caracas. La razón de ello se debe a la polución del aire, por los fuegos forestales que están ocurriendo en las afueras de la capital Venezolana, o al menos esa es mi interpretación.
Estas fotos fueron tomadas el día 29, con la cámara de mi Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra y editadas en Gimp. En la última imagen se observa el contexto de la fotografía y se aprecia claramente la tonalidad rojiza.
