Romy's frustration was growing because she had been working on several songs without earning almost anything from them; they were practically losses. But make no mistake, these latest songs she's made are very good. Specialized music critics have hailed them as brilliant. What's happening is that before she can release them and earn money from them, someone leaks them well in advance to make the same money on a separate platform.
This is a huge blow for Romy because it forces her to release her songs prematurely. She can't run marketing campaigns to promote the songs further, nor does she have time to produce a better version before releasing it to her fans. It's a complete disaster because each song requires a lot of work and money invested. And it all vanishes in the blink of an eye with these leaks.
That's why she's so frustrated; she doesn't know what to do. The losses are piling up, and it's seriously affecting her music career. She's tried everything to fix it. The music copies of the song are kept under lock and key on a secure server at her record label. It's impossible for anyone to leak them from there. Everyone around her doesn't have early access to the songs; only the executives and the main manager, besides herself, of course.

Despite these strict measures, the songs have been leaked for the past three years. Romy was on the verge of quitting music because of this, as she was truly upset. Knowing she was considering this, the record label called in a special agent to help her with this strange case and uncover the truth. This undercover agent was very good at what he did. Knowing she would have this help gave her a little more confidence, but she didn't really know what else could be done to protect her music. They didn't know where the backdoor was through which her music was being leaked ahead of schedule.
The very clever agent proposed something to her: for her next song, they would investigate every stage of its creation together. They would place hidden cameras everywhere without her coworkers knowing. Only she and he would know. They wouldn't do anything until the song was released, to see at what point in the song's journey it was being leaked—whether in the studio, on the record label's secure servers by a staff member, or through a hack.
She loved the idea, and they got to work on it as soon as possible. They recorded the song and set up cameras throughout the studio. After recording, they transported it in a vehicle, as usual, to the secure servers. At the record label, with the owner's permission, they installed cameras in places where there hadn't been any before, in case someone on staff turned off the official ones. And as an extra security measure, the record label owner gave the agent daily access to the servers to see who was accessing them from inside or outside.

The entire plan was ready and the trap set; all that was left was to wait for the leaker to fall for it. As always, Romy announced the release date of her song so the leaker would act first. And exactly what had to happen, happened: the song was released ahead of schedule on a strange website. People could buy it for pennies. Now the hunt began. The agent searched for access to the record label's servers. No one had accessed them from inside or outside. So that could be ruled out. Only one option remained: the recording studio where the songs were recorded. When they reviewed the hidden security camera footage, they saw the janitor cleaning at night when no one was there.
They saw him connect a USB drive to the studio's PC. It was definitely him. They had caught him. The lawsuit against the janitor would be so large that he would spend the rest of his life in prison because he couldn't afford to pay it. With the mission accomplished, the agent left, and Romy was overjoyed. The leaker's nightmare was over—what a detective adventure!
