Going back in time, before everything happened, they were just four innocent friends who didn't think anything bad about each other. They were practically brothers. The four were Orbis, Theo, David, and Justin. They had known each other since childhood. That was because they all lived very close by. Their houses were in the same neighborhood. Sometimes, when one of the parents had to work and had nowhere to leave the children, they would leave them with a neighbor, and that neighbor had one of the four as a son. That's how they got to know each other from a young age.

Back then, free of malice, they all played together, imagining what their future would be like. They loved to imagine what each of them would do. They had these conversations in the neighborhood park. That's where they met every afternoon. They realized they had something in common: they loved music. Sometimes they would pretend to be singers.

For those games, they would bring a radio with music and play their favorite singers. And one of them would pick up a stick from the ground and pretend to sing on a stage. They were wholesome, fun games. Childhood flew by in those playful afternoons. But when they reached adolescence, things were going to start changing between them. Their love for music had grown stronger; it was no longer enough for them to just play at being singers. The time was approaching to form their own identities and choose what they were really going to dedicate themselves to.

One afternoon, they decided it was time to do what they'd always done, but in games: be real singers. Everyone liked the idea. But before it all began, they made a promise and a competition. The competition was to see which of the four would become a singer first and who would achieve the most fame. It was just a joke, but it would motivate them. And the promise was that the losers would have to buy the winner a beer.

It would be a fun game, and there was no malice involved, apparently. From then on, their careers took off. Each of them began to prepare musically to become singers. Although the competition was just a game, deep down they believed it was real. Something told them they had to be better than their friends and not fall behind them. At the very least, they had to be at the same level.

A short time later, each of them was getting started. Orbis had already managed to get a job in a band, and some of the others already had solo careers and were theater singers. In their own way and within their comfort zones, the four of them were progressing very well. They could still see each other from time to time in the neighborhood park, although less and less frequently. Their friendship weakened a little, but the competition between them grew stronger every day.

That healthy competition was fading into a rivalry. Things started going downhill when Orbis became popular in his band and his music was everywhere. This made the other three feel left out and like they were losing ground. So they picked up the pace. Later, each one surpassed the others; one month they'd be on top, and then the others would overtake them. Because of this, it wasn't clear who was winning out of the four. When Theo reached the peak of popularity once again, he decided to claim victory and that everyone owed him beers.

This greatly upset the others, who felt they had won first. This was the final straw that destroyed their friendship. It had started as a game, but because they didn't recognize it in time, they destroyed their friendship. They each went their separate ways. They no longer speak to each other, and they can't even stand the sight of each other. It was a friendship that broke down tragically; they didn't see the red lines and take action. Orbis, who was the first to become famous, hopes they can be friends again someday, but the others don't feel the same way. Nevertheless, he'll try to fix things, because in the end, it was all just a game.
