Cameron and Irian have worked together since she started in music. That was about 12 years ago; a lot has happened since then. Cameron is her bodyguard and head of personal security. Over all those years, they've shared great adventures and all sorts of situations, from comical to dangerous. But she has always felt safe because of the security he has provided and his unwavering loyalty. She chose him as her personal guard because she knew him before she was a singer. He was her neighbor, and back then he was in the army.
When she was a novice singer, she didn't need security, but as her fame grew, she became increasingly vulnerable. And when she learned that her neighbor Cameron had left the army, she called him to work as her protector. That's how they started working together; it seems life wanted them to look out for each other, which is why it brought them together. There are several experiences they've shared in those years, once she achieved fame, and in them, she's been able to see what he's made of.
Cameron has been pressured from various sides. Several of her fans have tried to bribe her, offering him money to let them get close to her, take pictures, or ask for personalized autographs at the most inopportune moments—for example, inside the hotel where she's staying, when no one else is around. But even though the sums have often been generous, he has never accepted. He prefers that she have the utmost security and privacy. This is just one of the ways in which his loyalty has been proven.

They've also often been in comical situations, with fans rushing towards her without warning to greet her. Since he doesn't know their true intentions, he has to act quickly and gently push them away. Sometimes people don't understand why he does it, but their safety is paramount. However, there was one specific occasion when Cameron was truly tested, when he had to prove his mettle.
It was just a year ago, almost like yesterday. Irian was at the peak of her career, enjoying great success and with a concert tour planned throughout the state. It turns out that a very envious singer harbored hatred and envy for everything she was achieving. He wanted fame too, and since he couldn't have it, he saw her as an example of what he himself couldn't be. So, if he couldn't do it, neither could anyone else. He was consumed by drugs and alcohol.
At one concert, he slipped into the audience with only one goal: to inflict as much harm as possible on her. He was carrying a gun and knew he was going to use it. He was high. While everyone else was enjoying herself as she sang, Cameron was backstage watching everything and coordinating with the rest of the security team. But nobody realized what was happening.

Cameron, who had been in the army, noticed this man walking strangely. He wasn't chanting like the others, he wasn't singing along, and he wasn't dancing. He was just staring intently at Irian. Cameron knew he was using drugs because of the dark circles under his eyes. But something else caught his attention: he had a gun in his pocket and it looked like he was about to pull it out. He knew he had to act immediately. There wasn't time to warn the other security personnel. So, without thinking twice, he went behind Irian on stage and stood in front of her just in time, and the man fired.
The bullet hit Cameron in the chest, but not Irian. Fortunately, he was quickly subdued by the people present and the police who arrived promptly. Cameron had accomplished his mission and was taken to the nearest hospital. Irian didn't leave his side for a moment. To her, he was like family, more than just an employee. He recovered, and they continued working together, but this would remain one of the most difficult experiences they had both faced. Without a doubt, if Irian is alive and singing today, it's thanks to him; she owes him her life. But Cameron owes him nothing; it's only his work and their friendship that matters. More challenges await them, but it's almost certain they'll overcome them together.
