Having a trusted friend is the best thing ever, because you have someone who supports you when you're at your lowest or celebrates with you when you're on top. Billy is Mary's best friend; he's her confidant. Together they've shared many adventures, and their friendship has grown stronger over the years, as they've faced trials, setbacks, and triumphs together. What has kept them together for so long is music. They met through it. That was a long time ago. Back then, Mary was just starting out as a singer; she only had a few songs. To most people, she was invisible.
But Billy liked her music from the very beginning; in fact, he loved it. Since Mary didn't have many followers on social media, he could read all the comments people left for her, as there weren't many. And in the comments on all her photos and posts, there was Billy, showing his support and letting her know she sang beautifully. At first, she only saw him as a fan passionate about what she did, but as time went on, she realized he was actually her number one fan.
Mary decided to meet him in person since his support was so noticeable. They met at a restaurant. They shared what they liked about their friendship. Their personalities meshed so well that they couldn't stop having a great time and laughing that day. Mary didn't have much to offer him at that time, as she was relatively unknown, but she told him she could pay for an apartment for him near where she lived so they could spend more time together and start working on his music career.

Billy thought it was an excellent idea; it's not every day that the singer you admire asks you to work with them because of the support you've shown them. Some time later, they joined forces as a team. He was there for her, ready to help with anything she needed, anything that required being a trusted friend. When she was doing something wrong, he didn't mince words when telling her, because he was her friend; someone else might have just said everything was fine. But where they truly helped each other was when Billy unearthed his hidden talent.
In his youth, he had dedicated himself to writing songs, but he never shared them with the world. No one knew he had composed them. So he presented them to Mary to see if she liked them and would sing them. She thought they were fantastic and sang them. Their working relationship then became much closer because, thanks to those songs, Mary's career took off very quickly. The result was so good that she fired her songwriters so that only Billy would write for her.
He did it with such passion that he liked the songs he made much more. From then on, Billy, besides being a great friend, started writing songs again. He thought of everything; he wanted her to succeed, so he worked incredibly hard to bring out the best in her voice and make it fit her personality. Together, Mary became a great singer.

The great thing about their friendship is how well it's worked out: a fan meets his idol, and then, thanks to that fan, the singer's career takes off. It's true that not all the songs he's written have been hits, and some have even flopped, but nothing can separate them. No one knows yet, but perhaps with time, their great friendship will blossom into something more. There's something beautiful between them that will grow into a perfect union, all fueled by music.
