I've been thinking about make a little step here and buy some steem, but it happens that I have some doubts about the best way to do it. I'll try to explain and hope you will be kind and help me.
The first thing is that I'd like to do it using a DEX. I've found two that admit the pair XMR/STEEM:
Simpleswap.io
Nice design but so expensive, it gives me 425 STEEM for 1 XMR. Here I think there's no doubt I have to insert 
Changenow.io
This gives a better rate but when you go further with small amounts like 0.1 XMR, it tells that the network fees will take a big part, I need to learn how to calculate it. With 1XMR seems well.

So, do any of you know some other ways to get steem with XMR? Is there an official way to proceed? How much Steem is good to power up my account?
