Strawberries - my favourite fruit. Nowadays strawberries are available throughout the year. But for me they will be seasonal fruit and I love to see them growing on the balcony. Nothing better than a fresh fruit picked up in the morning. The pleasure of having your own strawberries for breakfast is great.

I have small strawberry plant that I kept from last year and now it starts producing small fruit. Very sweet I can tell you. Plants are growing in pots that hang on the railings collecting sunshine during the day.

I was patient while waiting to pick up the first one.

The plant like I said is small and the fruit will be handful. But recently I bought two more plants of different sort. Usually the flowers are white. The new plant got red flowers.

I don't know yet how big the strawberries will be. They are still not ready. Their structure is so unusual while they are still forming.

With the new plants I expect to have more juicy fruit. Until then let me show you more of this lovely red coloured flower that will turn into strawberry.
