I have promised @papilloncharity that I will show the photos of the squirrels I made. They are not of the best quality, but that is what i have. First let me tell you that I see squirrels so rare, that it is a real thing for me. Our neighbourhood lacks squirrels and I don't know the reason. Is it the huge number of raptors we see in the sky who probably chased them away or something else, I'm not sure.
However, the big city garden is known for its large number of squirrels and walking there gives a good chance to spot them. While I was there for bird hunt (photo hunt) I kept my eyes open for anything else. My patience was rewarded. The first squirrel pop up close to the green woodpecker I was photographing.
I start shooting from a distance, not to disturb and scare the little one.
The squirrel was jumping on the tree, hid and poked its curious face.
There was a hole, could be its home, I can't tell for sure, but I managed to capture when it sneaked in it.
OK, I sneaked too, getting close and not looking where I step, I found I was standing right on the birds poop.
Later I saw another one, this time too fast and I got just one decent shot, well sort of...
On the next day I went again in the Sea Garden and again I met a squirrel who was hopping. Actually running.
And kept on running away.
When I was in Sofia for a couple of days and walked in the park there I was lucky to spot squirrels. Next shots are may be the worst but they are the funniest.
My first phitos of squirrels. Like I said, not the best, but they all make me smile and that is what matters. Hope I made you smile too.
