I am so happy to see the Booted Eagle as an entry.
It is great these beauties survived. We had devastating fires too. It is horrible how the wildlife suffer.
We have at least a couple nesting in the woods near my home and watch them regularly flying above, causing a lot of flapping, because all birds are in the sky when the Booted Eagle is hunting. I witnessed battles in the sky when pigeons and jackdaws together with the seagulls chased the eagle.
