My entry - Bangla Hive Global Contest #2: Alphabet Hunt (Letter B)

What a thrill to see one of my favourite contests back to life - the Alphabet Hunt.

Now, the next round obviously is a hunt of objects starting with the letter B. How to take part in the contest is explained here 👇

Thouse who know me, wouldn't be surprised of my choices. And those who don't know me - I love to watch and photograph birds. Of course, being out and enjoying the nature, I might find other interesting objects. So, let's see what I have to show today.
1. Bee-eater
Bee-eaters are among the few colourful birds one can spot in my country. They arrive in the spring and build the nests on the sandy cliffs like the one on the picture. They dig holes at least a meter long and I was glad to watch them and photograph them during the process as well as later on feeding their chicks. They are migratory birds and soon will be gone, if not already.
2. Blackbird
The Blackbird is one of the best singers, I have ever heard. Speaking about birds of course. The male is black in colour, while female is dark brown. They are widely spread and I spot them in the parks, woods very often. I found that I haven't so many photos of that bird recently.
3. Buzzard
I cannot miss one of the raptors I see almost every day, if not flying above my head, I will see it perching on a tree brunch alongside the roads outside the town. I cropped the image for better view of the details. It is hard to get good photos of flying birds with my camera. But for the sake of id the bird it works OK.
4. Black woodpecker
An elusive bird, that I saw only in the woods and not in the parks, where other woodpeckers are constantly residing. The Black woodpecker is the biggest woodpecker in my country. I must admit that seeing not one bur four at the same time was more than I could wish for.
5. Bridge
The small bridge we cross to reach our favourite place for watching birds and having picnic under the trees. The stream is small and because of the water, the life is blooming in a very small place. That is why we prefer it for our walks as there is always interesting wild life, not just birds.
6. Boat
Last photo is different than the rest. I made it from the beach testing the zoom of the camera. One can argue it is an yacht, but I have plenty of photos of yachts that will be used when we reach letter Y.
And I found this photo as a bonus - butterfly and bee, both on a thistle.
And last, but not least, I would like to invite
