As a continuation of my Wednesday Short Walk, this post is dedicated to the #amazingnature contest run by @adalger and I would like to show more pictures of amazing birds.
The Woodpecker
There are many of them around. Sometimes I can hear them knocking quite loud, but most of the times I can spot them after hearing their specific call. The way the fly is like swimming in the sky or better to say diving.
The Crow
They can be noisy, not very attractive, but extremely intelligent. After seeing one foraging the waste bin, this one has found food from that conifer.
Let's leave the crow to finish the lunch and moving on we reach
The pigeons
This couple is like in love, standing so close to each other.
And I will finish with the humble sparrows.
The Sparrows
First, let me show how this little one took some rubbish to complete its nest.
And the other fella, perching on the roof top.
The birds around us are truely amazing. My wish (when all will get back to normal) is to stay the whole day in the park with the camera and to observe the birds. There is so much activity going on, from making nests to hatching eggs, feeding the hatchings, teach them to fly....
That is all for now. I hope you enjoyed the series of bird photos.
