I am happy to join the new community Hive Pets, where we can share stories, photos, everything about our pets.
So, without further ado, let me present my four-legged members of our familly - Penny, Furry and Blue.
Penny
Penny is my Chinese Crested dog. She is hairless. And that is why she has to be dressed according to the weather.
We have Penny for seven years. She was already an adult dog when we took her with her daughter Jade. Sadly, Jade passed away in February. Penny is very timid and quiet and hardly can be heard barking.
Since her crest grows and she doesn't shed, she requires constant grooming and she has different hair styles.
She can look like a rock star or with hair style of the 80s.
Chinese Crested are like little ponies. With the crest and socks, they are so unusual. Not many dogs like Penny can be found in our area and we are constantly stopped and asked about the breed.
Furry
Three years ago we found little scruffy looking kitten on the street. Dogs found it under a car, from where the kitten crawled. Without much thinking I took it home.
She got skin desease and long treatment was needed. Hubby called her Octavia after October, the month we found her.
From scruffy and skiny kitten, Fury became humongous cat. Her head is bigger than my hand.
As, you have noriced she is calico cat. Some say, calico cats bring luck, wealth and prosperity. One thing is sure, she brought us a lot if entertainment.
You must know something about Furry. She loves her bath and she adores to stay in the water.
More about her adventure in the bathtub will follow.
Blue
The new member of our family also found and rescued. Hubby took it from the street half dead near blue Peugeot, hence the name Blue.
She is sweetheart and definitely a lap cat, unlike Furry, who is more independent.
If we had a lot of entertainment with Furry, now it is double with Blue.
Sweet dreams Blue.
This was a brief introduction and I have a lot to tell about them. They make our house full and complete.
Till next time!
