My very first encounter with the jay. Some may think it is not a big deal, but for me it is. This time I made the photos in the Sea Garden, the biggest park in my hometown Varna. Just imagine how many birds I see on daily basis around my home where the park is very, very small. The Sea Garden is a place where one can find much more.
I was spending few hours walking and searching for birds, but my initial plan was to go to the beach and photograph the swans. This is going to be another post about them.
I heard a noise from a shrub where bunch of sparrows were arguing. Close to it I heard knocking sound and while looking for the woorkpecker another bird appeared - the jay. It should not be surprise, jays are spread throughout the country, but this is a bird we never have seen in our neighborhood.
Look at this curious face. Probably the clicking noise from the camera made the bird look straight.
