Happy Feathered Friday!
In line with this week's topic in #SMaP (Show me a photo contest) in Feathered Friends Community for this Feathered Friday I have prepared to share some photos of ducks, geese and swans.
If you haven't joined our community, you are welcome to do it. This is community about birds and all about them. If you like to photograph birds, check the contest #SMaP, where the theme is different each week. It is not necessary to be a wildlife photographer to take part. You can use your phone camera and to snap pictures of birds in the park, on the beach, in the zoo....
This week we are after WATERFOWLS. 👈🏼 Click the link to check the contest post and read the rules. Also got inspired by the entries of the other contestants. I am looking forward to seeing more entries. The contest is fun, but at the same time we learn about the birds by sharing stories and infomation.

And now back to the waterfowls. In the contest post I used pictures of ducks I took in the park. Usually there are lakes, ponds in city parks, where one can find different species of waterfowl. Our local park in the neighborhood is too small and no pond exists. The biggest park is called Sea garden, because it is stretched alongside the coast and the beach. Although it is huge, the only pond with ducks is artificial and filled with water in spring and summer. So, there I went in May (thanks god, there is date on the photos, otherwise I forgot when I took them) and I first found the ducks in the grass.

Ducks are so entertaining and no wonder this pond is in the midst of the children's corner in the park.
More ducks and geese can be found in the zoo. I have mixed feelings about the zoo, but now let me show some older pictures I took there.
The goose. Nothing spectacular, but I haven't got many photos of geese.
The zoo is quite small, but at least the waterfowl area is in the open, the fence is not so big and I often see the ducks and geese outside on the paths.
One can see swans in the zoo, but I love to watch them on the beach.
I read the local news, the swans are back and like every winter they stay on our coast. So, soon I will go to the beach to make some new photos. Until then another one from the archive.
