Today I haven't seen much and the most interesting bird was the jackdaw with building material in the beak.
Each time I come across a bird collecting material for the nest, I wonder how they can pick anything, even our rubbish. I noticed in some nests plastics along with twigs, leaves and moss.
The paper was inspected first and on second thought dropped on the ground. Possibly, the bird decided it is not worth.
Further I heard a noise coming from a bush, two male cats were fighting and one of them, the ginger one ran as fast as he can and quickly climbed on the tree escaping from the other cat.
It happened to be the tree with few holes, occupied by starlings. The starlings were on the top branches escaping the cat, while three magpies were trying to make the cat go away. They were making a big noise, while swooping down. Finally the cat left the tree and the starlings should thank the magpies for getting rid of the intruder. Sadly, no photos of that action.
But since I mentioned starlings, here is another one, standing proudly and whistling.
And that's all for now. Don't forget to check the links in the beginning of the post.
Have a great weekend!
