Amazing Little Corals

The wonders of nature are everywhere. We see them everyday and luckily when there is a chance of visiting another country, new wonders will reveal in ftont of our eyes.

I was extremely happy and lucky to see amazing places recently during my holiday in Thailand. I collected memories and impressions and photos of course.

I missed several rounds from the #amazingnature contest run by the wonderful @adalger. Being away I had no much time to post but now I am back from the holiday and I have plenty of photos I wish to share. I started to wonder where to start from.

I browsed the photos I took and I think the best to start with will be the corals - the little pieces scattered around the beach.

It was different, that sea, no pebbles like I was used to see, but pieces of corals.

The small island of Koh Lipe is part of Tarutao National Marine Park in the Andaman Sea. The coral reef is basically meters away and some may prefer snorkeling in the shallow water instead of going further with the longtail boats. Believe me, it was worth to see the coral reef with the small and big fish so colorful, swimming around you.

But today I am showing only small remnants of what was part of the big reef. Aren't they wonderful?

Odd shapes, mostly white in colour.

Holding them in my hand is like touching something from another world. Strange feeling.

I could stay longer on the beach and keep on searching for odd shaped corals. They were countless.

So were the little fish.

As you know how much I like to look closer and to zoom, I tried to take a closer look at the coral.

It looks so much different.

It may not contrast on the white sand, but I could not miss to notice each aand every one.

I was fascinated simply because it was the first time seeing corals in the sea and on the beach. Everything that is different, attracts me no matter how small it can be.
