This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own HIVEians.
Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts, posting from the NeedleWorkMonday Community and using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each otherโs creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.
Let us as a community, continue to show our love and support by visiting and commenting on each other's work while inspiring one another with the beautiful works of needle art that we do. Nothing makes a heart happier than to read a supportive comment from a fellow member!
by @adonisr
After receiving a surprise gift of a cute cactus from her neighbour, @adonisr decided to return the gift with an equally cute mini pillow with a cactus in a pot patchwork. With felt, pearls, pom pom trimmings and a flower shaped sequin, she sewed the cute little pillow with much love for her neighbour :)
As @irenenavarroart's son and niece just graduated from kindergarten and elementary school respectively. She wanted to give them both little gifts to remember this special stage of their life and what better fit than a crocheted pencil cover in the shape of a boy and a girl with caps and gowns, a diploma and a medal of graduation. Adorable :)
by @leslieq78
@leslieq78 is on an eco friendly mission this week to promote the usage of eco friendly bags to save marine lives. She decided to make more for herself, one to carry fruits and vegetables while another to hold books to her book club by combining tulle fabric with another fabric. The result is beautiful, useful and most satisfying :)
by @devyleona
One can find needlework nspiration from anywhere and @devyleona found hers this week from a tin case she found while cleaning her room. Using felt and hand sewing them neatly, she created her cute mini bear with a bed and a little window. Simply cute :)
by @tibaire
@tibaire is all about a Disney character called "Dumbo" this week, the cute baby elephant with big ears that could fly, inspired by a conversation with a friend in a chat group. She crocheted each piece and joined them together to create cute "Dumbo" :)
