Self-voting is a no from me, on principle. You've got my support to stand firm on that. Personally, I think self-voting should be made impossible at the blockchain level. As in, a vote cast from an account will fail if the recipient is that same account. Wouldn't stop it completely because people can make multiple accounts, but it would be something. I think the long term cost, the actual cost, of self-voting would dwarf the rewards gained from doing so.
