If someone had asked me a few years ago whether difficult seasons had any blessings in them, I probably would have said no.
When we go through pain, disappointment, financial struggles, or unanswered prayers, it is easy to believe that God has forgotten us. We often ask questions like, "Why is this happening to me?" or "When will things get better?"
I have asked those questions many times.
There were moments in my life when I felt stuck. I prayed for opportunities and expected immediate answers, but instead I was met with silence and delays. At first, I didn't understand why God wasn't moving as quickly as I wanted Him to.
However, looking back now, I realize that some of my greatest lessons came during those difficult seasons.
Hard times taught me patience.
They taught me to appreciate small blessings that I once ignored. They taught me to trust God even when I could not see the outcome. Most importantly, they taught me that my faith should not depend on whether life is easy or difficult.
Romans 8:28 says:
"And we know that in all things God works
