This singer and songwriter has sold more than 15 million records worldwide, being the youngest British artist to receive a Brit Award, as well as having a number one album in the UK. Smokey Robinson renamed her Aretha Joplin, and she has been recognized by the American and British recording industry with several nominations, two Brit Awards and a Grammy Award. She has been called the new white hope of British Soul.
