Inspir贸 una pel铆cula con su nombre, es un exito en todos los corridos de m煤sica tradicional mexicana. Su historia (aunque es triste) profesa los peligros de el alcohol. Y m谩s que todo es una letra que sale de lo ordinario que esperamos hoy en d铆a y todos esos clich茅s, para tener una historia digna de escuchar ocasionalmente.
Seg煤n mi investigaci贸n la letra es de la autor铆a del compositor V铆ctor Cordero Aurrecoechea.
Pero tradicionalmente acostumbramos a escuchar esa canci贸n en la voz del gran Antonio Aguilar.
En 茅stos tiempos son pocas las veces que un cliente pide canciones viejitas viejitas pero buenas. Y no fue la excepci贸n 茅sta 煤ltima vez. Fuimos a tocar y por casualidad pidieron ese tema.
As铆 que siempre aunque los tiempos cambien, debemos tener algunos cl谩sicos bajo la manga.

It inspired a movie with his name, is a hit in all the corridos of traditional Mexican music. Its story (although sad) professes the dangers of alcohol. And most of all it is a lyric that goes out of the ordinary that we expect nowadays and all those clich茅s, to have a story worthy of occasional listening.
According to my research the lyrics are by composer Victor Cordero Aurrecoechea.
But traditionally we used to listen to this song in the voice of the great Antonio Aguilar.
These days it is not often that a client asks for good old songs. And this last time was no exception. We went to play and by chance they asked for that song.
So even though times change, we should always have some classics up our sleeves.
