“In all things of nature there is something of the marvellous."
-Aristotle
I make the most opportunity of the time to stroll, trek and roam the entire place that we have been into. In my previous blogs, I have shared the enticing beauties of the beaches of Odlot, Bogo City. This time, I wanna blog about this once-in-a-lifetime chance to have a wondrous trip with nature specifically from the powerful trees to the never-fading splendid beauty of the beaches. This was still happening in the same barangay that we visited.
The Power of Trees
Nature is truly amazing, as we walked and discovered a place that we have never been before, a walk connecting with nature was such a great memory. While I was walking amidst the forest, I never experienced the hotness of the atmosphere 'though it is summer here instead the coldness of the air was touching my warm skin.
The temperature here dropped and I enjoyed walking a lot. I have seen this cute yet durable house made from light materials. This is where people nearby can take their break if they become exhausted.
Not too far from here, I have seen this trace of a tree being cut a long time ago. I'm pretty sure this was from a huge tree as seen from the roots. Behind it was a mound constructed by the termites. It was perfectly done and was never destroyed by the people around. It is an incredible artwork.
Various kinds of trees are found and it is such a wonderful feeling to be staying here. As evident, with a hammock, a baby was enjoying a peaceful sleep plus the very cold air around.
Off to splendid beaches
As we continued our journey with no proper destination, we reached this eye-catching beach resort. Simple yet incredible. There are no cottages around, but the numerous trees seen on every corner are more than the cottages. The superb whiteness of the sand is beyond compare. The area is not huge however, the satisfaction of one's feeling was seen in the eyes of the people there. It was indeed so cool to be here.
After our quick stay and visit here, we continued walking to explore another beautiful beach that can be seen not too far from this place. It takes 1 hour if we opted to walk. Reaching this place is another remarkable adventure that is worth sharing.
Along our way, I have seen how hardworking Filipinos are. The locals were selling products naturally harvested from their farm and made within their locality. These handcrafted hats made from palms were sold at a very affordable price. This is useful, especially in this summer season. Nature is beneficial at any angle of life
A man was selling ice cream and making use of the time that he might earn even a little to feed his family. He brought his family with him and I was delighted to look at them. They did this kind of job happily. Another amazing stay under the shades of the trees around.
Another responsible father was seen at his back selling balloons. Although there was a lesser assurance of sales still he was determined because this was for his family. They both were enjoying staying under the trees to stay cool and away from the scorching heat of the sun.
Well, moving forward I have seen the wide area of the beach. It is free to all. I like everything here too. What makes this place special, is being free, it is clean and the splendid beauty of the beach is truly amazing!
I have taken a photo opportunity of this granny together with her cute fur baby gazing at the seawater slowly moving the shoreline. She was relaxing and embracing the sea breeze which is beneficial to her health. It is a Filipino belief that staying at the beach is good for the oldies. The weather this time was warm thus, all of the people gathered here were enjoying themselves to the fullest.
Reconnecting with nature is amazing! This was my kid, she was glad and enjoyed looking at these waves. Another remarkable experience that made my day fulfilling and complete. I was happy and contented because of this great thing that happened.
Thank you so much for reading my blog. May God bless us all.
