The beach resort is usually visited by families during special occasions especially here in the Philippines due to the shoreline which is truly inviting. But this beach resort that I have visited is peculiar to the expected one, it has no shoreline and the cottages are hooked on the mountain.
The day was fine and my enthusiasm to explore and visit this place was more motivating. I have heard about the splendid beauty of the resort, however, it is too far from our place. It is located at the corner of the city where I currently reside. I was thinking it would be the right time to go there as I was with my co-teacher who knows more about the place.
My travel buddy drove my motorcycle in going there. It took 45 minutes in reaching the place. As we headed our way, I was mesmerized by the beautiful green sceneries that surround the long winding round. The breeze of the air is not that polluted as it is located in a far-flung area.
We have reached our final destination, now welcome to the Sea Turtle Lagoon of Tabogon, the hidden paradise of the sleeping town. The entrance is only 50.00 pesos which are very affordable to the locals.
As we bounded to the resort, we were hailed by the various plants around. The place is so cool and the coldness of the air embracing and touching my skin was soothing.
This is the main entrance and walking in the path is one of a kind experience. It is simple but it feels amazingly different to be here. The chirping birds greeted us, and the whining wind was comforting. At the end of the entryway is the functional toilet.
Going downward is pretty tough for me especially since I have vertigo but this never hindered me to go and explore the attractiveness of it. Extra care is highly advised and is needed. It was constructed with a lot of stairways as it was situated on higher ground. The architectural design was planned profoundly and it was done uniquely.
The resort鈥檚 way to connect closer to the sea is with the usage of the stairways thus, it has lots of stairs. I was overwhelmed by how they were created. They were planned with firm foundations and attached to concrete handrails to ensure the safety of the users from slipping and falling. They are very beneficial when we are ascending or descending our ways.
The resort is designed with a high-quality structure, Eco-friendly and user-friendly, and the solid foundation is relevant as the site is on a higher level.
At the back of the toilet is the Gumamela Cottage, which caters to at least 5 persons.
As I descended, I was fascinated with the biggest cottage that can cater to 2-3 big families. It is made of native materials, with cogon grass as the roof.
I continued exploring the resort using the stairways, on my right side facing the sea, other attractive cottages were pinned on the huge rocks. These cottages were made from native materials too with sturdy posts, and cemented chairs.
I continued traversing the area, at the left side of the resort, I was astonished by another incredible cottage. There is an area for karaoke purposes and some of the cottages here cater to smaller families. Still, they were constructed with firm and solid foundations.
I have seen the utilization of the space in each corner. Different landscapes were made, and planted with various kinds of plants that added loveliness to our eyes. It was decorated well using pebble designs.
I admired how they recycled the materials here. These old jars used as water storage were planted with different plants and the used plastic containers were functioning as garbage bins. This is truly an amazing act that's so inspiring and motivating.
The other corners of the area were also used, they were designed well and have different functions. None of the spaces here are useless, everything is serviceable.
The overlooking view is so inviting and something I can be proud of. It is a perfect place for relaxation because of being tranquil, the sea breeze is good for the health and it is alluring to the folks who need pollutant-free sea breeze. The overlooking view is another quality of the resort that I can be proud of.
I felt the caress of the sea breeze touching my skin and the place is peaceful. The crystal clear seawater is extremely alluring but it was too deep, I cannot dare to take a plunge and go swimming. The divers who are fond of diving will surely love this. I have felt a refreshing feeling after watching the splashing of clean water.
The resort was named the Sea Turtle because of the visit to the sea turtles here. This time they were not around and unlucky I wasn鈥檛 able to experience their presence.
It was a fun-filled day, I was happy and contented. For the first time, I was able to step on this resort unexpectedly and never regretted visiting it. Sometimes in my life, I need to unwind, give myself a break, and have time to enjoy and explore different places that will give me self-restoration and satisfaction.
Discovering new places bridges me to be emotionally and mentally healthy. The breathtaking view of the resort helped me I got a self-realization that as I returned home, my day ended with another memorable experience that is valuable to me.
