I have tried many ways to study python programming. As you know programming languages will be added with additional functionalities and capabilities day by day. So there is no end.
So if you have some programming background or you already gone through basic python programming tutorials , then directly jump into building some applications and start sharing your work through some blog . Rather than reading through everything and working on something, this method will be more practical.
The advantage of directly jumping to application building is that you can specialize in the areas where you are working or building applications. You will be happy seeing something you are doing or building when you look back.
But it is going to be difficult initially,but slowly you can overcome that.
But I also want to mention the disadvantages, one i can think of is the quality of the programming, but if you get a review or proper advise from others or experts articles...you should be ok.
