Pamiri house is considered as one of the oldest architectural value in the world. that has been in existence for more then 8000 years. In such a long period this house has kept entire rich history of humanity in different eras from Aryan, Zoroastrianism and Islam.
In this picture the traditional ceiling have four square figures. In Zoroastrianism concept the four corners of each layer shows 4 elements of nature includes water, fire, air and land the basics for the beginning of life.
in Islamic concept the four corners of ceiling layers are (Shariat) Legality, (Tariqat) Practice, ( Maharifat) Intellectual, ( Haqiqat) Truth. The roof window in the center which passes natural light inside the house represents (Noor) the light of God.
