There amidst all the turmoil,
Was a yellow light.
One that fluttered like a butterfly,
Came to life ever since.
It was the shade,
For every harsh reality.
It was the sunshine,
On the dark cloudy days.
Like a paper boat on a river,
With not a lot,
It still sailed all the way.
Reality is harsh,
The journey to the island,
A sweet escape.
An escape it remains nevertheless,
Yet, sweet it is,
That the only relief.
