"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
Alexander Graham Bell

A little bit of my research and personal opinion...

Helen Adams Keller was born on June 27, 1880, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and died on June 1, 1968, 26 days before his 88th birthday, in his home in Arcan Ridge near Westport, Connecticut. Helen Keller was an American writer, the first deaf-mute that graduated from college.
The Keller family was originally from Germany and her father, of Swiss origin. Her parents - Captain Arthur H. Keller and her mother, Kate, the captain's second wife. His mother was the cousin of General Robert Edward Lee, who led the army of the Confederation of Southern States in the American Civil War.

  • From my point of view, there is a lot of truth in the words of H. Keller. It happens very often that past sufferings capture all your attention in the present moment. You get stuck in your mind, it stops you in a particular place and keeps your soul shut as a bird in a cage.

But I think there's always another door open!
    I'm sure, actually:)

Just because life is not a road, but a multitude of roads from which we have a lot of choices!
The secret is not to stay in the, aparentlly, critical situations and anchored in the past, and we will see the light and continue our journey with grace and happyness!
